My New Coolant Catch Can

i may look into one of these in about a month if they can make on in a brushed aluminum finish

if you are really really desperated about this catch can... you can get other brand catch can but it will not look good as pirana offered, in fact they don't have tube to see coolant levels.

Both of you're comments are true. I'll give you props for the sig, but mine doesn't slow us down.

I know it would Bijou, but it doesn't go with my color scheme that I have envisioned!

im on cable... those stupid animated gifs in peoples sigs like yours and dr sounds old one and the dancing asian chick in someones loaded like 8 times per page really kills scroll and typing ability if theyre being displayed. at least downsize the image its 348k for christs sake. i made a full flash sig for pdhaudio with like 5 pictures and animations and sprites and it was like 69k

I had the same problem for the first day. Just wrench it down a bit and you should be fine.

i just installed mine on tuesday. its leaking like a siv from the lower part of the sightglass and the fitting at the bottom. i got RTV but i need to take the time to drain it, unscrew both fittings, rtv the s***, and screw it back in. meanwhile, my coolant level is still good so im not in a rush.

you can feel free to make it the same size as my car in my sig and ill gladly change over to it.... sheesh i think that some people dont like girls ;) j/k

Hey Matthew, I just did my catch can with the bottom fitting (removed the straw), and was ok, until a day or so later, I noticed it was leaking too. It looks that after it gets hot the metal contracts, or expands, whatever, and the fitting will start leaking. The first time I installed it, it was tight as hell, then 2 days later I was able to give it one more full turn, it stopped leaking, but will check during the weekend. Try yours.

My mind has drawn a blank on the name. Working nights will do that to ya.

But what about using that white tape for sealing pipes? When I used to do pest control I would use it on my spray rigs and seal them and that was high pressure stuff.

Brain fart: Teflon tape is the name of the stuff.
