My new C/F wing

Alright, before you guys flame me for getting a big ass carbon fiber wing, let me set it up for you. This wing is one of only 3 in the world and was designed and built to go on one of the Falken Tire drift cars. Its the same wing they have on 2 of their other drift cars, its very nice and has a huge retail price tag.
Anyways, ive got a c/f hood and trunk on order as well as the mazdaspeed front bumper for my car. Im thinking that this would compliment the look and give the car more of a D1 look.
After i get the hood and trunk, it will be set on the trunk to see if i like it, if i dont im gonna sell it.

i love it. only thing id be worried about is the cf trunk with the wing on it. if it does create enough downforce, would the clear coat crack on the trunk?

i was hoping, cuz it would look silly on a protege. ummm...yes, i think it will look good.

see if you can get brackets that make it sit lower and sweep back farther. I hope that cf trunk is strong because that wing is gonna put a lot of force on it and might damage it.

you bring up a good point, but im not sure that ill have it "tuned" for a lot of downforce, meaning, its for looks and while it could be functional, it wont be used for that unless i start road racing.
ALso, the trunk and wing wont be on the car most of the time, most of the time it will be the factory decklid unless ill be doing some shows or meets, then ill switch them back out

Looks good....I think it will look awesome on the RX-8. I wish there was a smaller (height and width) CF wing out there...would look good on the MSM
