I have actually donated about a gallon and a half of blood, but they were donations. You dont get payed unless you donate platellets which yes is a very long process. They pump your blood through this filter for quite a while. Thanks for the ideas guys but yah, those wont really help. lol

Donating blood sounds gross for some reason. Also I heard if you've had Mono before you can't donate...
nothing gross about it - although it is against some people's religious beliefs to donate or receive donated blood....
and yes, theres a whole list of health checks that get done prior to you being allowed to donate blood (at least here in australia).... and then prior to the blood being used, i'm reasonably sure it gets tested for some nasties.....
But this is off topic, unless we are all going to go donate blood to help this project get back up off the ground

^^^ Have you seen stock 9.1 compression pistons? The bowl on the stockers is so big you could eat cereal out of it! the pistons pictured have a very shallow bowl. and much larger valve indentations compared to the stock 9.1 compression pistons.
Edit - other than bowl shape they do look alot alike. I wasnt trying to sound like and a-hole... sorry if i did.

shoot sucks that you'll be stepping out of the NA race, but good choice, i myself sometimes wonder if i should quit modding my car, but its hard.... i'm just gona hold of on few other things lol (hm perhaps someday i'll have my fully built NA Protege)
i wish i had them pistons lol 10.4:1 yup ... are they a simple drop in or additional modification will be required (thats what said on corksport site)
(my piston rings fried, so i figure when i have enuf $$$ i get new pistons as well)

The pistons are not from corksport. These are drop in's, no modification required to engine. Yah I am keeping all my performance mods and pistons so I can pick this back up when I can afford it.

Might as well call you darth vaidor. lol J/K I would go turbo as well if I could but I find I can only buy one part every once in a while and most NA mods seem to be cheaper than FI mods
^^^ maybe until u realised you spent more in NA total... not trying to discourage it bc i too am doing an NA build... good to see this thread again... take your time on the build, man.... there are more important priorites in life... unless your a pro racer and your sponsors are your source of income...
