Hey Danny, if you're wanting to go with ITBs, check out the gsx-r throttle bodies on ebay. They go for $20+. I'm sure with a little bit of fab work, you could get them to work. All the linkage is there, as well as a place to mount the TPS. I was debating this, but didn't want to deal with the MAF. Although, if microtech allows you to tune with the TPS, it might not be that bad to get it to work. They already have vac lines coming off of them, so you could hook up a vac block to run the brake booster, etc...

Yah I was really interested in trying that. But it would involve alot of tuning and fabricating of parts which I dont really have the know how, or money to do. I have a very limited budget as it is for this build, only money I have going into this project is from stuff I sell so it will be slow going getting the parts for the build. So because of that I think I am just going to try and find a 626 IM and port and polish it or maby run it through a flow bench if I can find a shop that will do it.

Got some sad news for you all. (sad2) I will no longer be in the running for 200hp. I have been doing alot of thinking a praying lately and I have decsided to sell most of my parts and appearence mods(mainly because the purchase of those parts have helped put me in debt and the selling of the parts will help me get out of debt). This is do to the fact that my wife and I are trying to get out of debt and have had are first child last November(which I have said before I am totally loving being a dad and stoked that I have a beautiful baby girl now), and are trying to sell are house. Because of all this I would will not have any where near the budget to get this accomplished any time in the near future. So to those of you still in this race or for those of you just wanting some performence mods I will be doing a massive huge megga sale here pretty soon including my Jspec 10:4 to 1 pistons, OBX UDP, and MAM catless midpipe which will help some of you guys reach your mark of 200hp. I am still keeping my suspension, stereo stuff, and some performence mods(so the car is at least still fun to drive). So of coarse I will still be modding my car, and doing auto, and rallyx stuff but it will be stuff that I can do my self and wont cost me much money to do. So I will let you all know when my massive parts sale will be up. Thanks, Dan

Thanks for the support guys. I am really sad that I am going to do this(cause I really like my car now) but at the same time really happy and excited about getting out of debt. So it will all be worth it, and don't worry there is no way I will be going turbo. I am a NA lover at heart.

technically you could sell the P5 get a BG protege( still 4 door and family friendly) for say 1-2k and work with that. hell people swap KL into them to. But hey you gotta do what ya gotta do.
Family first.....this 200whp race certainly isn't for everyone.... I can't afford it myself at the moment....but I don't have the added burden of a house repayment and a child....

Yah, I am actually pretty excited about it. I will get quite a bit will all the parts I have and since I am still keeping my suspension upgrades, some performance parts, and audio I can still do autox/rallyx and have a fun car to drive. A win win situation. So if you want I will send you a list of the parts I have and I will give you first dibs if there is anything you want to buy and of coarse I will give ya good deal since your local and a good friend. I will defenitely still be around and will still be an NA man at heart. I will also still be modding my car but mods that wont cost me much. For example I will be doing some fiberglass projects soon, and some cleaning up of the body of the car with some bondo, and things of that nature. So yah I will be back to the NA build in the future when I am out of debt and I can afford it again. Thanks, Dan
