I have a STOCK MSP the only thing done to it
is the fllash. For a while now the car has been
hesitating and it's really bothering me. In 3rd gear
it's the worst because the car like literally jumps
back and forth 4K and up....it's kinda embarassing when ur trying
to destroy a honda....i don't know what should do
take it back to the dealership? or i dunno

any help or suggestions would be great
thanks in advance

Upped boost is the perfect cure for a hesitation......with proper supporting mods.

hey Rich, for real though
if u want to improve the drivability in hot weather without spending a fortune, research IC sprayers on this forum.
there are numerous threads about them.
u can have frion or water or nitrous.....many people use them and it helps a lot.

it's a cheaper way without going the FMIC route.

also, the flash does not cure the hesitation....it just masks it in a way.
many people still feel hesitation with flash (me included).
it's just not as bad as unflashed.

another solution might be Unichip.....or MPI Tuner.
both are good upgrades to our crappy ECU.

maybe try purchasing a FCD....that may help alot, also take it back to the dearlership and tell them what exactly you are experienceing with your car AFTER the flash....just a suggestion.

I'm flashed, I have slight hesitation in 3rd gear sometimes. Depends on how hot it is and such. I'm raising my boost tomorrow, we'll see if it still sticks out or goes away. I'll be stock with the exception of a MBC. For now at least.

Mine still hesitates like a MOFO post flash, worst of all in second gear. Screw a Honda, it's embarassing as hell when you've got passengers and the car bucks like a bronco. My friends can't eat or drink in my car. Not that I don't trust them, I just don't want that s*** to go everywhere when my car decides to pull a herkie jerkie.

FMIC and exhaust upgrades are on the semi-distant horizon, and I've heard that those are a good fix for hesitation and bucking, so I'm going to live with it until then.

Mine has done this since I bought it. I got the flash and it was still there. Finally when my intercooler pipe to the turbo blew off, they replaced the gasket and reightened the cheap ass clamp and now, very little hesitation. I think you have a boost leak issue.

yeah, downpipe fixed the little hesitation i had.
although i still get it 2 or 3 times a month.

see, WE shouldn't have to go out and get aftermarket stuff to fix someone else's screw up...cough mazda cough.

It should be fixed under warranty to begin with.
