My MSP Photoshoot

CChris704

Still miss my MSP...
:
2003.5 MSP Sunlight Silver
Nothing special right now, went to do a little photoshoot for my art class and then decided to take a few of my car too! Its nothing too special pretty much stock outside but with great plans.

Also I have the bluebatmobile red overlays on there to anyone who wondered what they look like. It completely changes the rear end of your car and i'd recommend it to anyone w/ a SS

Oh yeah if anyone wants I can resize them to make it fit as a backround. It was from a 35mm so it'll get distorted as a background... and the middle one = msp "under construction"... get it?

LOL! Yeah, I get it... Nice pics man,but get rid of that front plate! Who cares about the 5-0!!!

i just got my overlays in the mail yetsterday. I was wondering how they matched the stock tailight color b/c the msp is more pink, and a regular protege is more red. What is your opinoin on them? You think they look good up close and personal?

So when you put on your turn signal or back up does it still look pink(Like the stock MSP tail lights)? Or does it look RED now?

thanks, yeah rear overlays were at bluebatmobile.com... thanks for the comments.

Protege's and MSP's have the exact same tail lights. There is no difference in color.

untrue, the reverse light on the msp has a pink tint over it, where on the regular protege it is clear. other than that they're the same. the pink tails or something was actually written on the window sticker as a feature, cause that's going to help sell the car

Did not know that. IMO clear instead of pink tint would look better.

yep, that's a lot of people's opinions, i've never heard someone say they really like the pink on the tails, but know of quite a few people who have swapped their tails for normal protege ones. it doesn't bother me that it's there but i'd rather it not be there

yeah i just didn't like the tails in general, it was too camry'ish to me.

I know what you mean. ALot ofcompanies now are doing the "pink" tails to try and hide the orange blinker bulb. VW did it successfully, but they just did interlaced lines of red, so it looked red, but the orange from the bulb could come through. I'm sure they put a patent on it, so everyone else is trying to just make them appear as red as possible, while letting it illuminate orange. They should be like Mitsu and Chevy, and use the new Silverstar signal bulbs that are an irridium kinda color when off (barely visible) but still light up orange.

haha all my friends drive Vdubs so that had a lot of influence, funny you brought that up.
