My MP3's Triumphant Return!!!

I got my MP3 back last night! I crashed it on 1/22/02 and that was the last time I drove it until last night! (Do a search, it's Crashed My MP3 if you don't know what I'm talking about) Man I love this car! It's as good as new (my uncle is the sh*it!) and he did the Protege5 headlight conversion. They look sweet!
The only thing that still needs to be done is put in the CAI from MHP. After the crash, everything from the air bypass valve down was destroyed. The upper piece and 1/4 of the lower piece were still good. My uncle used those two pieces to temporarily set me up until he gets the other half. It looks pretty damn good if you ask me! It should be in any day now.
I'll try to get picks of the headlights and intake asap. My freakin PHOTOSUITE II is acting up again, and it won't let me get pictures from the camera. If worst comes to worst I'll just borrow my girlfriend's father's camera.

awesome having it back huh? how much did you pay for the p5 lights, and where did you get them? is it just the wiring harness that gets changed?

I cant wait to get mine back, The engine blew in mine and the dealer ordered a new one that they got in 2 days ago and when i went to see if it was done thursday they said that they found out that the tranny also needed work and would be another couple of days. But it is cool that they are hooking me up so far. As they should since the tranny caused my problems. They said that 3rd and 4th were completly Gone
I Should get her back sometime next week

The piston on the passenger side was melted. And I wasn't using anything but just shifting like I usually do from 1st to 2nd when 2nd popped out as I was stepping on the gas and it hit about 8000rpm Which is another thing, I thought our cars had a "Cut-Off" point? Rev limiter? Maybe it was disfunctional, I dunno.

i'd have to laugh when they said the tranny needed some work. one of those, gee really you think so kinda things.

Yes, it feels damn good to be back in the driver's seat!!! Since my original headlights were obliterated, my uncle just got the P5s instead from the dealership. He used the MP3 harness and just spliced away! The only problem is that my headlights are bright as hell!!! I mean highbeam bright! My uncle is going to fidle around with them to dim them a bit. I guess the MP3 harness is cramming too much power into the little H7s. Sh*t, I don't know. I'll let you guys know what happens.
I have only one pic of the headlights, or should I say headlight, b/c the others sucked. (The sun glare from the headlights was overwhelming!) I'll have more up soon.
Oh yeah, I have pics of my temporary intake setup as well if you're interested. (I'm actually pretty pleased with this setup) If I had the money, I'd go to the dyno and see what the difference is between the two setups, if any. Oh well. Enjoy the pics! Like I said, I'll have more up soon.
