my MP3 wit another noise..

ok..so i got the bushings replaced..shift knob and steering wheel was peeling..the parts are on the way..and now my steering wheel makes this squeaky noise when i make turns..hm...anyone have ideas? going to the dealers next week..n i wont b driving much because i have 49698 miles!!! lol like 300 till warranty is voided..

Maybe low on PowerSteering fluid? Or belts worn?

Sorry, just trying obvious things first.

I have a noise too, but its only when i'm going around 50 mph and it from the right side of my MP3. Really high pitch and not related to engine RPMs.

like..the noise comes when i TURN the steering wheel..it sounds like a squeek that comes when u step on the old wooden floor (does dat make sense to u..lol)...like..squeeek squeeek..

I get the same "crrr--crrrr" (literally) sound when I turn the wheel while the car is braked and stationary... sometimes you have to do it when parking in tight spaces.... has anyone been able to fix the problem?????

if ur warranty has not expired yet, i say go to the dealers and have them look at it. It's free, although there is a good chance that they will **** up some other part in the process of fixing what is wrong in the first place as i experienced TWICE. I just got mine fixed, and they told me the something in the steering compartment came loose and they tightend it and my noise is now gone. Give them a visit. Good luck.

haven't had that noise, but i do have a new one. My volume up button on the kenwood deck broke and now it randomly turns all the way up out of nowhere. How's that for a noise. The dealrship ordered a new deck for me and it should be here at the end of the week, hopefully. but it still sucks for the time being. good luck with your problem. later

Put some AWR Motor Mounts and you won't have any problems with small noises bugging you anymore!!
