My Mazdaspeed just broked down, sucks!! I had to call the Mazda Road side assistance. The car started really bad, it felt almost like it was not getting any fuel, I was driving on E as far as fuel when it started to do this, so I thought it was because I was running out of gas, but then I filled up the tank and still continued to do it. It got to the point where I could not drive it anymore. Any Ideas?

Only Injen CAI

Oh s***, another problem. Give me a few weeks and I'm sure my MSP will duplicate it. :D

Seriously though, that sucks. I have no idea why it'd do that, as I've driven to the point where the gas light comes on. Never have I had any issues like you've described, though.

I know, I just came back from dropping off the car with the towing truck at the dealer, so I will see tomorrow or Monday what they are going to say, I hope they will not give me a hard time for having the Injen CAI, do you think maybe I have some bad gas or maybe because I was using the gas on the very bottom of the tank some type of dirt might have clogged the fuel filter?

I seriously doubt you'd have enough dirt in your tank to cause engine failure. But now that you've brought it up, anyone get around your car that you've noticed? Is it possible someone did put dirt/sugar/whatever in your tank?

This may be totally unrelated to the gas thing, though. Did you check the pipe going from the intercooler to the bypass valve? When mine broke, the car stumbled to a point of stalling everytime I'd put my foot in it and it had issues starting up.

I did not notice anybody close to my car, I had the car parked at my work's parking lot with the Alarm on, I guess somebody could have force the gas door open and pour something in there, I hope not, do you think they will be able to tell at the dealer? I check the I/C pipes and Injen Pipes and I did not see any leaks, I was able to rev up my engine for a little bit before the problem got worst and I did not hear any leaks on the system. I drove for like 20 miles with the problem getting worst and worst untill I had to pull over and call the road side since I did not want to drive the rest of the drivers crazy.

Hmm... Not sure then. Dealership should be able to tell, but most dealership's service departments are not open on Saturdays...

Let us know what you/they find out. It seems as though I have the most problematic MSP on the board, so I'd love to hear about it in case something like this happens to me.

haha i did the same s***. i ran my car outta gas tonight and it just felt like fuel cut all the way till it died lmfao i had to hike to the gas station and fill up the red plastic jug. oh well it was an experience.
