My Mazda 3 is broke already too.

Well my brand new Mazda 3 started making a strange knocking noise about 4 days after I bought it. I brought it to the dealer and what they came up with was that the AC compressor is faulty. Problem is this part I was told is on national back order. They say the car is ok to drive but I am not very happy about this. Here I am driving a brand new car that all of a sudden starts to make knocking noises at random. This can't look good. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Since the part is on national back order I am figuring it has to be a big problem.

I went to a couple other Mazda forums and this is the first AC compressor problem I come across.

The Mazda3 is new so almost all parts are in national back order. I try to order a underhood insulation for my GS (the underhood insulation only come with GT) and it's also in natioanl back order...
