What do you guys think? I did all the bondo work myself and attempted to paint it but couldnt match the color. I had it professionally painted but they didnt match it perfectly either. I might try another place later on if it bothers me but its ok for now. Details on the computer and equipment located here. Not bad for a second attempt at bondo by a 17 year old eh?

colors are off because of the extreme angle.. but all seats get a good angle view of the screen.

i'd love to do it in any car i have, i am just clueless where to start! and i'd love to run BSD in my pro5, that s*** would be hot! if anyone has any sites showing step by step how to do it please post! i'de get started right away !!!!

No alternator whine at all. I had a nasty buzz until I grounded the computer case like traitorhound suggested and its crystal clear now.

The rough breakdown on the cost:
LCD: 410
Alpine 4 chan.: 280ish
Computer components: 250-350ish
Keyboard: 15
Mouse: 20 (including shipping)
Random cables (amp power and shielded RCA): maybe another 30-50

I still have to get the new battery terminals soon and some Y-adapters in the mail. Everything is functional but I want it professional looking. Not included above is the fuse holder and distribution block for the amp wiring, and other random things like the power inverter and bondo and paint job.

nice set up, i did my screen in the same place, but i didnt get it molded. that looks way more cleaner though! nice job!

looks great dude, i hope to follow in your footsteps eventually. as far as paints, have you tried some of the plastic paints they make for RC cars and such, like at hobby shops? they might have something that is pretty close to the stock color. let us know if you do find something though

oh man. . .. .yea. . good stuff. . . .i always seem like a step behind on everything. . .i have all my parts and just have to actually do the molding. . .hope mine turns out just as well
