I didn't copy TXMazdaSpeeder, I just thought this idea up today when I was bored.

Let me know what you think.

Im not sure how to make it stay around the edges though. As of right now I just pushed the extra material into the crevice to hold it in. Unless someone thinks it looks very good I will probably take it out.

I can't really vote I love it. I think it's ok. I like it. Sorry I can't help you about the securing it.

I have thought of lots of different material, the reason I used that stuff was because I had a bunch remaining from another project.

Suade would look really good. Kinda like the Scoobie STI.

Thanks

some did this jus today , look around poss. in appereance. section. he used some 3m vinyl adhesive, looks clean.

sry for grammer/pucnt/splellin dirty fingers.

looks hot...I think that suede would be the way to go....like the interior of the S4 (at least the S4 Bi-Turbo Sport wagon that I sat in)

You can leave them on. Its probablly easier to take them off though.

Can anyone find me suede? I have looked everywhere and cannot find any.

Go with Crushed Velvet. It will look really nice! There was a "how to " about this for the last car website I belonged to...of course it was a site for my last car, so not really sure if it will help much, but if you wanna see is involved on putting it on a dodge stratus then go to www.stratusphere.us and look under the HOW TO section....or...(hopefull this link will work.) here: http://www.stratusphere.us/forums/index.php?showtopic=9946

it actully is a helpfull post. It tells what kind of glue will hold the crushed velvet the best, and etc.... so if you want to consider crushed velvet check it out.

Do you know how they made the material stay in the crevice with out making it look like crap?

How much did it cost you if you dont mind me asking?

Thanks

From what I know ... the door panel was removed and the leather was applied using some strong a$$ glue. Since the door panel was off im guessing they were able to spread that panel off of the door enough to press the leather around and behind it. You cannot see the edges at all.

Install of the seats and door panels was $1200
