MY girl goes to retreat

One thing you do learn, there was only one perfect person in this world and he died for us. No one is perfect we all sin. We are forgiven because of what Jesus did for us.

one question to orangezoom

you said

"Also you have to pray to God in good times and bad, and most of the time I pray I do not ask for stuff for me, I will pray for other people and that people get to know God.
I will probalbly pray for you that you find the peace that you need, and that everything works out for you, and if not that you and your daughter have a great relationship."

you're going to pray form for things to work out right?, what if it doesnt work out and i ask you, how come, what will be your answer

will it be because that's how god wanted it to be or it was meant to be like that

- that another thing: when people pray and it doesnt go their way, why is their answer always, that's how it's meant to be - so if it is, why pray in the first place and just say it's meant to be like that

You are right not everything goes our way, and yes I would say that God Has plans for everyone.
This is not your real life, you will take nothing with you when you die, but that is when your real life begins.

you sir imo actually have an understanding of religion and i thank you for it, to many people strive to be perfect when it wil never happen.

I by know means no everything about being a christian, I try, I go to church, I read my bible, I say my prayers, I try toi live like the bible tells be to. but I also fail at times I am not perfect.
If you are catholic why not go see your priest see what he says.

for all those who are really into their religion dont hate me because of what i'm saying - this is just the way i feel and that i'm going through some bumpy roads in my relationship right now

noone should hate you for your beliefs, they are YOUR beliefs after all.

because the priest will say exactly what she is saying - obviously the priest is higher in "rankings" than my girl is so he's going to feel stronger about it than she does

- a priest is a regular person so why confess or speak to him about it - they do "sin", have legal troubles (not all) so this makes me feel like, what's really happening and whose the real "good" people - if you know what i'm trying to say.

and you know what - her aunt who got her into going to the retreat is all into church but tell me why she's the first one in her fam to talk about everybody and be judgemental and guess what - my girl was the one who pointed that out to me (this was a long time ago that she told me)

but if this is god's plan for me - why go to a church and talk about it with the pastor - he cant do anything about, now can he

Isn't it worth a try for your daughter?
This did not come out right. I know you would do anything for your daughter or you would have left a long time ago.

my daughter will always have everything she wants - she's the last person that should be in this conversation because whatever happens between me and her mom - i will always be there for her, i would never leave her or forget about her

im talking to you guys, seeing things in other people's point of view

let me ask you guys a question

after all this long conversation that we having, do any of you know why the reason for me starting this thread, do you actually understand what's bothering me and has me upset
