So today after driving down from Milwaukee WI, to Chicago me and my buddy decided to stop in and get some food, before we head out to Michigan.

Car drives fine everything is awesome, we get back and I get into the car press in the clutch to start it, and the clutch stays pressed in, I just told him hey my clutch is stuck we pop the hood try to pump the clutch by hand and he just says hes seeing some liquid squir out onto the bottom black part.

so as of right now I have no idea whats wrong with my car and won't know untill Monday because the dealership wont be open till then.

But one good thing is Mazda Road Side assistance is awesome, and super helpfull and friendly.

I just hope my car is ok.

tl:rd any one else had any problems with their clutch just being stuck in the pressed down position? and is it serious?

Wow, that's not a fun surprise on a road trip. I wonder what caused it? Possibly colder temps?

Where exactly did you see fluid leaking?

the liquid was squirting from what seemed like under the engine straight down from the intake. I'm at 8k miles so I'm just hoping that warranty covers it all.

so it turns out it was the slave cylinder, the warranty covered the repairs so yey no money out of pocket.

Good to hear! Did the dealer say if they've seen that happen a lot? How much did the repair end up being after everything was all said and done?

I havent picked up the car yet, since it happened in IL I'm still in Wi I will be able to pick it up tomorrow, I haven't seen the paperwork yet but when I do I will let you know what the charges were and I will ask if it has happened a lot.

So after i picked it up the work order didn't have any prices on them it all came out with zeroes, but they replaced the slave cylinder and flushed the fluid.

Also when I picked her up the clutch felt funny as I drove away I called and told them about it the guy said to just come back. When I got back there he flushed the fluid again and it felt fine. So they probably forgot to top it off or something.

Overall I do have to say that the Wilkins Mazda dealership it's pretty good.

Either that or they didn't bleed it all the way and air was trapped in the line.
