My Dyno Pics / Vids

No, your crank was balanced by mazda.

That's what I meant. It came from the factory assembled in that shortblock already balanced. It had the "drill marks" on it.

On another note, I got it back together with the new bearings, but there's a REAL bad noise in the middle of the block. I'm kinda pissed. 4 mechanics at work said it sounds just like a collapsed piston, and 2 thought it was a wristpin, but I'm not saying s*** until I get the head off and take a look... At least the bearing noise is gone...

I've got a flight this afternoon and another tonight, so I'm not even going to look at that piece of s*** car until tomorrow. I'm SO ******* fed up with it, I don't know what to do. Might send it down the ******* road for a white MS6.

Wow, when I read about what happened I couldn't help but think your break-in went waaay too fast...

Gonna put on 500Km before I even think about going into boost, then after 1000Km's it's onto the dyno for tuning, then it's fair game.

JMHO ;)

Naw man... Where's that link? It's a real famous one I'm sure if you search you can find it. Break in should last absolutel no more than 1,500 Km's.

Ya man, forged don't mean s*** apparently. It's in the exact same spot (like, I'll post pics, it's eerie) as my stock piston, and it gave out jsut as easily...

Uh...

What on earth is wrong with your car?

Are you sure your injectors are all firing properly?

Well, Jay already knows the story, but basically, in a nutshell it's bad 91 ocatne gas and not being able to hear knock.
