BANANA OF FURY
*IF you dont want to read, scroll down for the pretty pics!*

So I had tons to do for the car show. First, I had never cleaned my car from the time i bought it. I took delivery and it blew up before I could wash it or clean the interior. The thing was FILTHY. I also found tons of flaws that I hate but i'm just an anal freak i guess. Anyway, with my scheduale I work a ton and the car needed lots of work. Long story short. I Dawned it, striped the wax, and started teh Zaino process (which is teh ROX0R!) > claybar (Z18) > Z6 > Zaino soap wash > Z5 > Z6 > Z5 > Z6 > Z2 > Z6 and then stop b/c you can only put three coats of polish on in a 24hr period. (This took 13 hours straight) It was TONS of work but the end result is completely amazing. I washed the car two days later to continue that process and I have never, ever seen water beads on a car like this. And i'm a uber detailing freak. I will never use anything but zaino ever again.

Also, it mad ethe paint look so much deaper and 3-d. WOW. All the products were top notch, and you can just keep layering it on for a better shine. Guys on the 350Z forums have over 60-70 coats on thier cars and the finish is AMAZING.

Which brings me to wed. before the show. more Zaino! Zaino wash > Z6 ? Z5 > Z2 > Z6 > Z2 and i ran out of time so i put on another Z6 and called it good. My windows were horrendous and had horrible hard water damage. I tried everything from 3m rubbing compuond on a buffer wheel to polish and ended up razorblading the entire windows with window cleaner and lube. Still not perfect but better. Any suggestions are helpful!

On thursday I installed what DGM pieces I could, waxed to engine bay, and cleanred out the interior hard core. Cleaned up very nice. ITS NOT DONE IN THE PICS! I installed the blue bay taillight overlays which look PIMP and put in daveb's, and pulle dthe condoms off the dash lighting to match the defi's.

I got more DGM stuff 2day aired in to get to me for the show which i installed the next day. All the cleaning keept me up working working on her until 5:30AM the day of the show. I went home, slept until 9, and got pushed across the street for the show. The speed was amazing! The first time driving my car in 7 months and I hit a top speed of 3 mph!!!! The guys even made zoom zoom noises while pushing me.

And the end result is below. It should go in order from the begining to the end. Sorry for the size of some of the shots. Thanks for your support and I hope to have her running soon!

Thanks for all the comments guys! The battery is going to be a Optima Yellowtop, but we havent put it in the engine yet because we dont have the IC piping installed yet.

And i'm from Omaha, Ne.

We are waiting on Perrin for the instructions for the IC, because my kit never shipped with one. I know the bends and cuts are simple, but I dont want to **** it up. The interior Defis are finally going in, the EGT probe finally got tapped today. The Turbo wastegate was taken off to powedercoat and now that is finally on. The TT and Profec B are being mounted inside but should be done today. Other than that it is just the small stuff getting thorwn together like the catch can, and misc bolts that we have laying around. The exhaust should be fully connected now and then that should about do it.

We will break in the engine on the stock ecu, then add the MPI once she is broken in. Its just hard getting another MSP up at the shop that is assembled so that we can double check our stuff. We want it right the first time. Other than that, we need one part of the shift linkage we lost in from mazda tommorow and we should be good to go by sat. i'm hoping.

Sweet man, that Zanio does wonders!! Wait till you get like 15-20 coats on her...
It will feel like silk, if it doesnt already!! I really like the way that you can tell the difference between your car and the other two... Yours just stands out! NICE
