My Car Is LOUD

Aight I've had a Corksport exhaust for a while now and I know the thing is loud but I just installed my front and rear motor mounts (AWR 90) and my car is even louder. Is this normal? I'm guessing it's just the sound from the added vibration but I mean it is really loud even w/ the silencer in on the freeway.
Would an exhaust leak make it a lot louder b/c i'm going to check out my gaskets next time I get the car in the air but...it's loud. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to get use to it?
I also felt a loss of power after I installed the rear mount? Dunno why, maybe it's in my head.

does your CS exhaust have the flex pipe section before the resonator near the connection to the J-pipe?

Good question. I remember when my downpipe broke, and it was really really loud

No I don't have the flex pipe in there, i'm thinking something might have gotten damaged (gasket or resonator) while i was installing the rear mount, moving the engine around a little bit and all. We all know how good those corksport resonators are. I'll check it out next week when i can get it up on a lift.
But as far as the mounts making the car louder anyone had this issue?

k, check the weld on the resonator ends, they've been known to come apart at the welds in certain ones w/ out the flex pipe...

Hey Kyle remember how I showed you Pauls resonator where it was cracking, check yours in the same spot. I think my car seemed like it was louder too b.c you can hear/feel the vibrations of the engine a lot more. I would help you check it out but I'm leaving tmw morning for Chicago/Dallas. If you have any questions just give me a call.

Hey Kyle my brother is home til tomorrow and I asked him about welding the resonator. He'll do it, along with a new muffler if we find one, but he needs the right kind of welder. He says a "TIG" or "MIG" welder...I have no idea what that means but im sure he knows what hes talking about. Find out what kind of welding equipment they have available at the shop we used with the lift. If that doesnt work my brother said we can do it in the welding engineering lab.

Who else has done this? What were the results?

Hey yeah we've got TIG and MIG welders at the shop.
Thanks Amy, next week i'll check it all out and see if i can't figure out what's going on. I'll def give you a call if i have any ?'s. I figured the mounts would make it a little louder but compared to yours it's a lot louder.

Put the car on the lift today, checked all the gaskets, bolted the exhaust back on really really well and the problem seems to have been solved, i think there was a small leak somewhere but the car is back to it's typical corksport exhaust loudness. thanks for all the input

Nice. Did the resonator show any signs of cracking?

No resonator looked pretty good, i didn't take off the whole pipe (left it in the hangers) but felt around where the cracks form and didn't feel anything
