I have an 06 mazda mazdaspeed6(2.3L Turbo) with 80,000 miles. Everytime i turn it on, it idles rough, like it jumps a couple hundred, for Example. 700 900 700 900 rhythimically(over and over) and when you start to drive it. It has a reallly REALLLY bad studder or hesitation(rough acceleration). usually its from 1000 rpm to about 4000. Much MUCH easier to notice in lower gears.. and it studders throughout every gear. The problem is there is no Check Engine Light, so i can't find out what the problem is, and I did the spark plugs, cleaned throttle body, and changed the maf sensor. What could it be? PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME. I need all the help possible. what may it be. any idea would help Thankss IN ADVANCE ANDD FOR LOOKINGG , GREATLY APPRECIATED ..

PLUSS my AIR FUEL RATIO IS ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL over the place. from 29-6-15-29-28-8-12-29

Like Forzda said, it is most-likely the wide-band oxygen sensor. I'm a little curious why it didn't trip the CEL.

If it isn't the oxygen sensor, I'm almost inclined to say you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Ohh okay. a new o2 sensor would cost how much? and vacuum leak how would you find out if its a leak? and how much would it cost?

The front O2 is rather expensive ($350-400) as it is a wide-band. You will need to get it from the dealer most likely.....

BUMP!

Having the same issue with my car No CEL. Too bad the OP never updated his thread with details. :(

Is the sensor just a generic Bosch one? If so you can pick one up off ebay for a couple hundred...

the front wide-band o2 sensor is failed... Replace and enjoy.

You are a God Forzda!!

It looks like everything is good! Replaced the 02 sensor and the car is driving like it was brand new. 7 months of Mazda not knowing the answer... long live the interwebz!!

Hesitation above 3K in all gears.

I kinda have the same issue.
2007 Mazdaspeed6 GT.
I took the beast for drive a few weeks ago and there was a lot of slush on the road.
Tried to avoid most of the puddles but a few I just could not.
Got home parked the car... Stared it up little while later and it ran like $#!T.
I believe it was in limp mode, would not go past 3K and had to virtually depress the accelerator to the floor.
I was thinking that the vacuum CAI got wet therefore the air flow sensor threw a code (CIL on at this point).
Let it dry for a few days and tried again.
I was able to drive kinda normal but above 3k it bucks like a wild horse, I think I got whiplash from it.
I also have the TSC light that came on during this fiasco...

I have a CAI and Hybrid BOV/BPV installed, all else is stock.

Somebody please help.

Yup I would look at leaks first because it can trip an 02 cell...

I do hear a hissing noise from the Left side engine bay.
The car is still bucking over 3K.
I've pulled the coil pack, 1,2,3 all had water marks on them.
I've since cleaned them up and stretched the spring inside for better contact with the plugs.
I'm going to put it back together and see what happens.
Any idea what vacuum line(s) are around the left side of the engine bay (when facing the front of the car)?

Anyone?
I've had an issue with one of the fuses in the engine bay.
'Eng Bar' keeps blowing.
From what I've read, it is a protection fuse for the EGR valve and O2 sensors???
I've checked the O2's and they are OK.
Not sure what else to look for and/or where to go from here?
Help?
