Ok, first off I haven't done it yet...but I have gone to my local shop and talked to the owner about what I want and we came up with this. I'm curious what you all think of this setup and the components used. I listen to mostly rock and alt. music more than R&B or rap, so the highs are much more important than the lows. This is for an 08.5 MS3 Sport.
Clarion MAX685BT cd/dvd head unit
Sirius Sat. Radio installed flush in the dash and controlled solely by the touch screen Clarion deck
XBOX 360 jacks hooked up to the HU
Focal 165vr 6.5" component highs in the front
Focal 165cvx 6.5" coaxial highs in the rear
JL Audio 10w3v3 single sub in the hatch (possible upgrade to two depending on how the single sub hits)
JL Audio G6600 amp running the entire system - 75w x 6 channels
Astrostart remote start/alarm
Haven't decided on the radar detector just yet, though.
I'm wanting to know if any of you guys have had experience with these specific components and if so what were your experiences.
