My AP V1.03 results...

Well just downloaded the new maps and took them for a spin.. My mods that effect the AP are CPE CAI, CS TBE, ETS TMIC, BOV, and RPMC Inlet... With the 1.02 maps the ONLY one I could run decently was the Stage 2 ( TBE only, otherwise stock) which wasn't too bad(In cold weather I have the occasional boost cut)... Today I tried the 1.03 maps....

First things first, don't run SF maps with a CAI, I was getting some retarded knock readings. So stage2+SF+TMIC 93 Oct was out the window. Next up, Stage2+MSCAI/TMIC 93 Oct. This map has been doing ok so far, knock reading only hit 1.0-- Boost cut is really hit or miss. However, anytime I downshift and go WOT, its immediate boost cut with it trying to hold 20-21 PSI. If I run through the gears, it will hold 17-18, but sometimes it will cut... If this map still gives me problems I will just go back to the Stage 2 93 Oct which means Ill probably take a hit performance wise, but hell at least Ill be able to even go WOT. I am so sick of boost cut, not being able to floor it sucks.

I am thinking the cut is coming due to my exhaust being catless. This is such a headache, I am going to have to start modding around my AP, which means ditching my CAI for an SRI. The MSCAI is different than the CP-e CAI AP-wise. I'll probably end up ordering the Nano soon and then hopefully I can be done with this.
Please post feedback or similar results, comments and what not...

You really, really need to run these OTS maps with the EXACT parts specified in the map notes. Results similar to yours were a constant issue in the Subaru world with people running mismatched parts with an OTS map. Your only realistic option if you want to keep your exsisting parts is to wait and get a custom map. If you want to keep playing aroung with what you have the first thing I would do is ditch the BOV and put the stock BPV back on.

Current beta v103 FMIC run better than the TMIC for anyone with an aftermarket TMIC. Or you can try the 93 STG2.

I tried the fmic maps, but it seems because I have the CP-E CAI (Which has near stock trims) the only map I can run successfully is the TBE/otherwise stock maps... The MSCAI/SRI maps give me some crazy engine knock/boost cut.

you guys are talkin about a beta version that is only available for data loggers, right? cause i went to cobbtunning and they dont have the v103 out yet.

Scatt, you might want to put back ur stock bpv, cause i experienced boost cut too with an aftermarket bpv while using v102 mscai tbe.

thanks dk....will download a map when i get my car back from th dealer for an ac problem. This is the second time i brought it in...so after the third time and i can call it lemon? sorry for the off topic, but yeah..if the AP doesnt call for it and you have it, it's probably the reason why it's acting funny.

i wouldnt run the maps unless u have the exact mods thats specified on them...

1 reason im staying away from the AP unless you build your car around it..
