DOes anyone have a problem with their air conditioning. On hot summer days, my a/c doesn't blow that cold and or blow hard. On a long trip in the summer, I think my a/c button kept comming un-pushed by itself. Other times it's fine. Intermitten I guess. It seemed to get colder when I would shut the a/c button off for about 10 minutes. Then the a/c would be ice cold for a while. Any tricks? This happened to me on a 20 hour trip.
Thanks.
Also I do use the internal circulation mode with the A/C on. W/blower speed on high.

Dont' use the internal cirlucation mode. Use the external one i think that should help you out a bit.
My internal circulation mode blows harder than the external one does. Why would changing modes help the temp?

Silver, what happens is this......after a while...with the A/C in recirc mode.....the coils get so cold that they actually start to freeze up on the OUTSIDE....and thus since the coils are freezing up not as much air passes through them...which is why your A/C blows LESS.....the reason your system comes back up after shutting down for that ten minutes....is that the coils thaw out...

if after your car cools down you will shift your air supply to external....the warmer air comming in will keep the coils from freezing up and your A/C will still be cold....and blowing hard.

I actually found this last summer that I even had to turn the TEMP control down a little to keep the system from freezing up under some conditions......this is just a testiment of how good the actual system is cooling.....in some cases its cooling TOO GOOD.

give it a try......
