my 6s on the rollers

wow! thanks! I'm a little concerned, however, as that shows ~ 20% drivetrain loss...when compared to factory rated HP. Do you know what the correction values were for your pulls? have the "Actual Numbers"?

most front wheel drive cars with manual trans are about 15-18% drivetrain loss. i'm sitting right about 20% which isn't too bad.

i'm just glad for most everyday driving they under rated torque. a 20% loss of torque would be 153.6. i dyno'd 169.4 wich is less then a ~12% loss.

the 6 has a great torque curve. when i start modding engine wise hp will generally be gained in the high end. so i'm not too worried. plan to do intake/header(S) :D and exhaust. and if ain't enough...try and squeezer a blower/charger in there. if i can break 200whp with those mods, minus the charger i'll be happy.

yeah, the tq curve looked nice...but I'd never think a fwd, which is more effecient at transfering power that rwd, would ever lose MORE than 15%...but (shrug)...it's Nice to see some raw numbers!

way to go! :D

Great post Orange Speed! (thumb)

It's nice to see dyno vids and charts on this new model.

What are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile #'s for the v6 w/ stick?

What is the curb weight?

Thanks for sharing your dyno info...keep it coming! :D

weight is also of the vehicle is 3243 for the base model 6 cyl. about 200 lbs less for the 4 clyinder
