My 3

Man I feel dumb now, making me second guess myself thinking ones a base 3.. Side moldings come off real easy, warm sunny day + finger nail and yank them off

wow. who cares. quit shitting on his thread. I think he told me they were both ms3 last time I talked to him. And I was joking about the wheels those of you who had to try to prove me wrong. My goodness.

They both speed 3's look at the hood and the rear spoiler, anyway it's cool to have a dad that you can share the same interest with.

LOL, This thread took on a life of it's own.

Me
2007 MS3 MSCAI, MSCBE, ETS 3.5, SU Boost Tubes, Forge BPV, TRZ Delrin Mount, TXS Racepipe, TWM STS/Bushings, Kazera KSV Rims

Dad
2008 MS3 MSCAI, MSCBE, SU Mount, TWM STS/Bushings, Mazdaspeed Forged Rims

I've got a lot of other small changes as well. My dad traded in his 2003 Lightning cause the gas was killing him. The sharkfin has caused no degredation to sound quality. My rims are only 1.5 lbs heavier than the forged but cost a third the price, my dad was pissed.

Id take 1.5lb heavier for 1/3 the price anyway. Sounds like a good setup youve got, does your dad plan on modding as much as you? If he was pissed about the wheels he may not like being a bit slower either.

He took mine for a ride while I was installing the STS in his and after a few minutes I hear tires screaming around a corner. He pulls up and says "sorry, mine doesn't do that, I want it to". To which my mom replied "NO WAY". I think the only other mod he's doing is the sharkfin.

Haha thats awesome. I've been thinking about getting a shark fin but I'm not sure how I feel about it.

They both look good, but I can't help but dig the 6 spoke wheels ALOT!

What's the major difference between the TRZ motor mount and the SU mount? Is one less harsh?
