MY 2006 Mazda 3 MPS Turbo - Help

Hi guys,

Im new to this and looking for some help with my baby.

She is very beautiful and i will be posting pics shortly.

Current Mods:

GFB Stealth BOV
Greddy Turbo timer
Modified Exhaust
Tomtom GO 910 Nav

There just a few issues so far:

1. Occationally the car will give a big back fire during shifting of gears.
Any ideas what this might be and is it hurting my car?

2. Dieing to get a CAI for the car
Does anyone know who is making them yet or any other mods for it?

3. Looking for a SAT/NAV set up. Its currently stuck to the window but i dont really like this look and want to install it properly.
Any ideas?

To your 1st question. How do you run your BOV with? VTA or Plumback? If VTA you may get backfire due to overly rich A/F between gears.

Where are you located? All non-US owners are required to provide pix and driving impressions since we don't have any in non-Mazda hands at the moment. What is the mod to the exhaust?

The DISI 2.3L runs really rich at high RPM, the backfire is alright, it shouldnt do any damage to your car. You have a moving flame thrower, thats kinda cool haha
