Just the way this particular club does it I guess, these weren't your standard SCCA spec classes, they go with a seperate "virgin" listing for all the first-timers and up from there.
 
Wow, try an SCCA event. Looks like you'd be classed correctly and be against cars that are more equal. You'd probably feel much better when the playing field is even. Congrats on doing it though! It's a rush!
 
Yeah good job. I can't wait till spring and I can start, stupid winter. Who say's you can't autox in the ice? What a dumb rule! ;)
 
I just autocrossed on ice this weekend... got fastest time for front wheel drive, too. :D Don't want to hijack the thread though.

In Ontario, novices run with everyone else although for the regional series there is a separate points category for all novices in all classes, and prizes for top overall novice driver.

This year I get to lose the "N".
 
:eek: Damn! Like 75% of the cars were Miatas.
