Can you explicitly dial in the torque settings? If so, great, if not, you still run the risk of over/under-tightening the lug nuts.
Also, most aftermarket lugs have some kind of finish. I'm not going to spend $50+ on lug nuts only to have the finish destroyed by an air tool. Besides, it's really not that big of an inconvenience to break out the torque wrench...
