Music started playing during call??!!

This happened to me twice today. I had my iPhone 4s plugged into USB and was driving along....

I made [or received?] two calls today through the BT system. I was talking no problem...then after a bit all of a sudden I could hear music playing during the call over the speakers!

The person on the other end could not hear the music but I could [it was a song from my iPhone library]. It's as if during the call the music player suddenly started streaming music, and I could hear both the person on the other end AND the music.

On my final trip of the day before I made a call I clicked on the BT tab [which automatically started music playing] then hit pause so it wasn't playing, then made a call with no problem/interference.

Has anyone else experienced this? Luckily I was just talking to friends today but this would be a problem if I were on an important call and all of a sudden music started playing.

That happened to me before, kind of annoying. I forget what I did exactly, but basically the music player started playing music through the phone BT connection! Actually this happened a couple times in my Civic previously. I think it is more the phone behaving badly than the car, but if it happens again, I will try to keep note of what happens.

If you are using Pandora, I have had this issue where Pandora randomly starts playing music (and I mean just walking around with it in my pocket). I work at a mortuary and once and this happened during a removal.

This happens to me all the time with my iPhone 5.

It never does it if I was listening to music via BT before, only if I wasn't. Then it start playing the first song on my device over BT. Very, very annoying.

Hi! Has anybody figured out why this happens? I have an iphone 5 s and it keeps bothering me when I get the call and the music starts playing! I am relieved to hear that the person on the other side of the line does not hear it but the volume is quite high and distracting.
I have to go find my iphone and put a pause on the music (sometimes the music app is not even turned on when this happens!) and if my call lasts for a while (maybe more than 5 min) the music starts again even if I had already paused it...
