multi tranny ???

Don't know if this helps, but Mazda USA's site says P5s built after 2/28/02 have the Sport AT transmission:

this maybe dumb but this is also for canada rite. cause on the canadian site it says that it has the Transmission 4 EAT is it th esame thing ????

No, not dumb at all--I'm no expert myself, I was just quoting the US website. Out of curiosity I went to the Mazda Canada site, and based on their description of EAT (teehee), "Electronically Controlled Automatic with Overdrive and Lock-up Torque Converter," I don't think that's it!

Hopefully someone else here will have more specific information. Maybe it hasn't made its way there yet, or isn't destined for Canada.

Maybe they think manumatics are just a silly fad more suited to Americans, I dunno. Just kidding, I'm no snob.

BTW, on the Canadian stations here in the Northeast, the Mazda commercials all pronounce the brand "Mazzda," while the U.S. commercials all pronounce it like "Mozda." It's funny to notice the difference!
