muffler removal?

hey i just saw a video online of a speed 3 with all 3 reso's removed and muffler removed. it sounded sick and u could actually hear the turbo spoolin. i all ready have two reso's removed and was thinkin of getting a test pipe. is it illegal to remove the muffler or? just curious sorry im stupid

not sure of the laws in utah.....but yeah it's pretty much illegal everywhere

technically, yes. any modification technically is illegal. however, it will not cause any emission tests to be failed like removing that catalytic converters.

go ahead and do it just keep your s*** so when inspections come up you can pass, i have been catless for a year and a half and have not got any cops bothering me, but i am in utah county and the cops here are lazy ***** haha

yeah thats why i said keep your stuff so when inspections come you can put them back on pass and take them right back off
