MSP Won't Turn Over

This is the end result, I paid TOTAL:998.84 and picked up my car just happy it works, tech said that the spring/tensioner most likely gave up and **** everything all up damaging the belt?
But dawg da **** check this s*** out, this bill is crazy
1)I think they put 10 hours of labor which is $57 an hour ? I just divided the Disc and the price on the labor first listed
2)Main parts $398 I dunno seems reasonable ?
3)Timing belt tensioner $8 reasonable
4)Coolant (My ***** dey charged $19 for coolant that I assumed they put in my MSP, dawg could have gotten 2 full jugs of coolant for that. not reasonable !
5)Gas $20 he actually did put that in there I was low no trippin
6)PVC $6 wtf is that?
7)Hazmat & Shop Supplies $11 reasonable

10 hours of labor is steep for this kind of job that takes 2 hours max on these cars. I can see charging 4 hours on a job like this due to thats prolly what allData would most likely call for roughly. 398 for a timing belt kit is kind of high, but I have seen worse. Everything else seems right. The PCV valve im not sure of why they replaced that. Its a crank case ventilation part. Helps vent the compressed air out of valvetrain. A simple goole search can describe it better than I can. haha. But pricing is different everywhere. Yet I have not charged any more than 5-600 bucks for a timing belt change and components. Very rare is there a case that charges more. But honestly, you where happy with having your car back and running and you where ok with price and thats all that matters. Its not really about if a shop got you for your money or not. If they did good work and car is fixed, thats what matters most. Glad to hear its back on road!

Coolant is about $15 a jug at the store so that's not really a ripoff, PCV is the check valve on top of the valve cover. Probably didn't need to be replaced but for $6, no big deal. The labor is high if it really was 10 hours, should be closer to 7-8 but that will vary some depending on the shop. Shops charge the List price for any parts or fluids they use, anyone can buy the parts from the store or online for far cheaper obviously but all shops work this way. Be glad you can drive it and that the valves weren't damaged!
