msp wont start

So last night i turn my car on and it would not start and was acting funny. when i would attempt to turn on the lights it sounds like something kept clicking from the fuse box area and the car would just keep clicking when i turned the ignition. I went and got a new battery and while all the electronics work properly now all the car does when i turn the ignition is click once and that's it. any ideas?

edit: now the when i turn the key all the lights go out or get very dim. bad fuse? bad ground?

battery and or alternator need to be replaced.
