MSP with springs thread!!!!

i hope the sportlines are noice because as soon as i get a few more of them winn dixie (supermarket in the southeast for those who don't know) checks i'm buying them, did anyone ever figure out if they were linear or not? because i need to know, i'll not be buying progressive springs.

nobody knows anything about the sportlines as far as linear vs progressive or their spring rates, at least as far as i know

in my opinion the pro kit dosnt lower the back end enough but then again i wanted a tucked look i guess i should have did more research

i went to eibach's site. they only have lowering height. i dont think they would release spring rates. but your more than welcome to look. its www.eibach.com

according to eibach the sportlines and pro kit are progressive.
that definately ruined like my whole life, that means i gotta go with GC's and spend the extra like $180 now, oh well it's too bad they're not linear.

what do you mean by linear vs. progressive? also does lowering you car really mess with stock geometry and handling cause i dont want to sacrifice my pimp awesome handling just for looks? if anyone has any feedback that would help tramendously. this decision will determine me getting the ground controls or powder coating my wheels :) !!!
thanks

linear is when the springs have a constand amount of force that counteracts weight in turning, progressive have increased spring rates as the spring is progressively compressed. linear are more predictable and all around better but provide a slightly harsher ride wich i could give a fugg less about... and progressive have slightly more ride comfort but are slightly less predictable outside of cornering. And it sounds like everyone likes Sportlines way more than the Pro kit from Eibach. Anyone feel otherwise?

And are sportlines better performers or just better looking? Thanks for info.

I dislike my Tein S-tech springs. Too much drop in the front and not enough in the rear, doesn't look very level. Great for jumps off the line with out any spinning, but just doesn't look right. I've had them on for more then a month and thought they would settle, definately no pleased, I guess that's why there so cheap at around $160.

what about those tanabe springs, the df-210. anybody have them, any pix or info

yeah bump for the tanabes, i think they got them at apexr1.com... i'm just too lazy to check, i suck at deh lazyness!

gold lines 1.6 inch drop all around not the best pic but u can see drop

bro your MSP in your sig has black wheels on it... what are they? they look nice, i'm thinkin of painting the stockies on the sunlight silver to be dark bronze.

there balck p5 rims, im putting them on like next week or so and puttin up new pics when i do right now thats jsut a photoshop image made by jflo

Bump for my question too about the tanabe df210 springs. On the springs buyer guide it says that it lowers your car F&B 2-2.5. I want springs that will lower my car the most but with a good ride, and i really dont want coilovers. I have my eye on the ion race springs.
