MSP vs. WRX in turns

trail braking is maximizing corner entry speed, for track situations where you want to pass someone

in my opinion its not very useful on the road
 
Trailbraking is not the same as left foot braking

Yes and no depending on where you intiate the trailbrake.
1. At the entry of the turn (as stated above)
2. At the apex of the turn (to change your line)

Most of the guys that I know do this with their left foot while their right is still modulating the gas

in my opinion its not very useful on the road

Then it's not trail braking anymore.
