i dont get my resources of a magazine i like to get them off ppl who have seen them run numberss at the track
drivers in mags dont always give you the best numbers in the real world

I can't believe the 6s is faster than the MSP. I was under the impression the MSP was the fastest car Mazda sold in the us. I know the RX8 is supposed to be, but look at their track times and ours. Neck and neck.

wow i was only commenting on the 6 but heck i thought thaty rx 8 is a fast/ qwick car
i only asked for the 6 cuz they r supposed to be mazdas flagship albeit with a variation of the ford duratec motor!

They usualy get pretty damn close. Not to mention not many people here have an MSP and a 6S hanging around, let alone a slalom outback.

I don't have numbers backing this up so I'm just putting it out there - but I test drove the RX8 three weeks ago (I'm sick - already looking for another car - not replacing my MSP though) and that freaking car is awesome!!! There is no way our MSPs are running neck and neck with them. Are we talking stock vs. stock or modded vs. stock???? if it is stock vs. stock I don't see how that claim could be based in reality. But hey what do I know (self-proclaimed ignorant)????

i think you missed my point magazines dont push to the exteme limits on cars
for example they lift throttle on shifts
i dont hear about many key word many magazines utilizing heel toe shifts
anyways my take is NOT all magazine have the best drivers

True but most drivers are still no wheres near as good as the magazine drivers. Again I say they get close, and no one has taken these cars through a slolum or put them on a skid pad for comparision purposes outside of magazines/Reviewers.

Maybe I was just wooed by the awesome torque and the feel of 235+ horses...I just checked and they are only running about a 14.5 1/4 mile - it comes down to driving I guess - but damn that car is hot!!!!
