im feeling the urge to change my wip... should i chnge my car form MSP3.5 to Evo 8? ive yet to mod my msp.. but i have plans for it... dont know (attn) what to do!!!! please opinions...

i say not...your car is an original limited production. ive often thought of upgrading to a wrx with my p5 but then though "there are not many modded p5's in my area and wrx's can be a dime a douzen" so i say do not do that! keep your car, enjoy it, and i wish i could have gotten an msp but fate lead me to the p5 and i am still happy! i mean seriously...msp= go kart handeling...stock turbo...good combo its a keeper! dont sell out to fads, even though evos are good cars keep the msp!

i agreee whole harded... i think its cuz im bored at work.. my mind is wandering.. i jsut wnat to have a fkin rocket under my ass.. never get there wiht msp.... but... the limited is the hot s*** so who know... opinon wel put and apreciated

i'd say get the evo if you can afford to.
don't get me wrong, i love my msp. it has good overall performance. i enjoy getting stares everyday at traffic lights, and love knowing that i'm driving around in a limited vehicle that not many people have seen or will have. i'm sure you feel the same way, but is that the only reason that you are keeping the car? if it is, i wouldn't settle. i don't drive around in my car to impress other people because it's "limited". i drive it because I love driving it.

it seems that you are longing for something better (quicker). if that's the case, then just get the evo. another comment i'd like to make is about this car being a dime a dozen or just a fad. sure it's a dime a dozen (at least in my area, orange county, CA) but i don't consider it JUST a fad. people buy these cars because they're GOOD performance cars. you're not gonna see anything close to that price range that has the same overall performance *stock*.

or maybe you're just bored at work... i dunno :)

i agree wit him^....i wouldn't think twice, if possible, i would get an EVO right now...i am in luv wit dos secksee kars. (attn)

get the UK version...like the MR420 or something? it puts down some maddd power. soooo hott. oh, and imo, if you think the msp is limited and gets looks and all that jazz, you don't think a freakin' EVO would??? yes...by teh numbers, the msp is more 'limited', but ive seen way more of us than i have EVOs...maybe that's just TX for ya, but hey.

thanks for the info... i dont know if $ will be an issue... i dont make tons but i dont have any bills per mo except car pmt. and ins pmt.

i am longing for something more.. and i feel like i could spend the same money upgrading to an evo.. but loosing the "botherhood" of the MSP... i like being unique... almost as much as i want to fly around at super highspeeds...

I dont see too many Evos around here(San Diego), maybe once in a while. The Evo is what you need, reliable quick car, you could probably leave it stock :D

Evo, although I am hearing now they have tranny problems after "long term" driving.

the cluth on the evos has been known to go at 3k miles

they used the same flywheel from the lancer on the evo, so it overheats like crazy during atop and go traffic due to the AWD
