anyone wanna come to Athens and take my MSP for a spin, tell me whats it doing? (yupnope)

It stumbles pretty @ WOT (or almost WOT) Since i'm such a n00b, i dont know exactly how to explain what it is doing, figure it would be easier to get someone to drive the car...

It basically stumbles (sounds like 'mini' muffled backfires? i'm horrible @ describing sounds)

you have an AF guage...? what's it doing at wot?

no AF guage, just a boost guage (Which btw, doesnt appear to do anything when it stumbles.. @ least not that i can see)

stumbling could be many things, know what your af ratio is would be good....got any smoke coming out of the exhaust...color?

at what rpm is this happening? Could be normal msp stumbling, could be fuel cut, could be plugs, could be dirty maf...ect.

Vacuum, MAF, or plugs, most likely. Maybe a leaky intercooler pipe?

How many miles on the car? Any mods?

thats why i should have had you drive it while i was out there!

its not a *Stumble @ 3800-4000*.. its stumble go stumble stumble go.. goo. stumble.. that kinda crap.. plugs changed about 8k ago. its not *HARD* like a fuel cut... dirty MAF maybe? hmm.. i hope what i said makes sense haha.

thats what i was afraid of... ;)

also why i figured it would be easier to get a local to drive it!

Clean the MAF first and foremost that will be the easiest thing to do.

Have you replaced it? Because 128k miles on a MAF is damn good.

Also check the stock intercooler piping, mine broke at the nipple for the intake.

my car was stumbling recently and the weather seal from the MAF plug was blocking two of the contact pins.

i'll give it a good once over this weekend.. gotta get me some more ramps (mine got ran over.. doh!) how you run over plastic ramps in the middle of the yard? oh well...

anyway, i'll check some of the stuff mentioned above! ^^

unless someone feels like a road trip to Athens.

yeah i think a timing belt may be due...the stretching of the belt can alter the timing
