WHat is the difference between the two? are the stock es struts gas struts and are they made by tokico as well? and when people say the msp has a stiffer ride isnt that a good thing? i want to be able to go over speed bumps and not even feel them, or drive down the interstate and be smooth sailing, like my buddys jetta. anyway any help will be appreciated

MSP set is design and tuned much better than the ES setup. My old ES felt had alot of nose while braking and felt really heavy in corners. When I test drove a speed, the car was alot stiffer and felt better when braking and felt nice and tight into corners. Despite that it still tended to understeer a little. This upgrade is what I am leaning towards for my P5. I had the JIC coilovers and they were awesome but if you have rough roads in your area you will destroy them quickly. The sensitivity of the JIC's is incredible. They are soft and absorbing but yet not forgiving in a pothole. Sorry for rant.

If you want matched springs and dampners that work well with the car and give you the sport car feel without sacaficing a factory ride those are your springs and struts. Yes stiffer is better for positive handling but not for impressing a your girl. But those are the happy medium and a safe worry free choice.

Sorry all that and I didn't quite answer everthing you asked. Those are sometimes harsh on speed bumps but not like driving a low rider. Highway the car feels great to me. If you hit a big hole on I-4 though you will know it the definitly will rebound alot harsher than the stock ES suspension. Like I said before they are a happy medium for this car though in between all out race and stock.
