MSP owners...what firearms do you own or carry at work?

That used to be a hood!

Yeah,if you look in front of the "hood" there used to be two trees there too.A chain saw is slightly faster but buckshot is much more fun.

Wagon, what type of set up are you doing with the 500?I use a Rem 870 for my home defense gun.I think I have found the perfect set up for a HD shotgun.I will take some pics and post them tomorrow.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure on the whole. the speedfeed III stock and a factory cruiser forend (the one with the strap) are the first parts I've got, 18.5" barrel is planned, unless I get the extended mag, then I'll go with the 20" (not sure what that would end up costing which is why its still a choice, and the only reason I wish I'd gotten an 870 instead of the 500). I'm thinking a heatshield.. thats about all I really had in mind, but who knows.

I plan to use the same receiver for clays, obviously the 28" barrel, and I'm not sure which stock set, I love how clean the wood stocks are, so I may just wanna keep em that way.

besides the MP .40 compact I carry, I also have a 1911 .45 cal full size, and a 38special, and a ruger p95 9mm, couple shotguns, couple fun .22 cal rifles, one is a pump .22 it's so fun, the other is a 1962 bolt action stevens rifle will hit a qtr at 30yrs no scope still so accurate.. God I love guns as much as cars I think!

i walk around on daily basis with two guns, but they are permanently attached to my shoulders, haha. they are the size of maybe a pellet gun

g17 here bone stock for now, pretty much sold off everything else (9 pistols) kept the G17 and the mossberg 590 with saddle and pistol grip with collapsible butt stock. (for next to the bed :-p)

Used to carry a Springfield Armory XD45ACP, now I carry either a S&W 442 or a Ruger LCP. Tired of people asking "Is that a gun?"

CCDW holder, btw.

I own many others, those are just my carry weapons.

Just purchased my first gun today at the gun and knife show in timonium, MD. I told them it was my first gun of any kind and would be used for some target shooting and mainly for home and zombie defense. I ended up picking a used Taurus 38 special 6 shot revolver, has a 4 inch barrel with wooden grips and fixed sights. I got it for 260 after taxes and fees. It was in great condition and was a consignment piece. I asked a few people who were shopping that I could tell knew what they were doing and they all agreed it was a good deal. What do you all think? For what I will use it for was this a good buy? I cant remember the model number, I think it was a model 82 but my receipt says 963.

Taurus CAN make a good gun, and they have a good warranty. The big issues with Taurus are if you have to have warranty work performed. Their customer service is a joke.

I'd have one, especially if it was to be used as a range or target gun. For $260 OTD, I think you got a decent deal.

That's a damn good looking wheel gun, looks to be based off a S&W J-Frame. Can't beat the looks of a classic Blue and Wood Double Action.

^I think at the time of production S&W owned part of taurus so this gun was tooled on the same forms as the S&W
