MSP Oil Filter NOT standard size!

are you guys saying i shouldnt use a wrench to tighten my filter?? i bought the kind that hooks up to a 3/8" socket and tighten it up. Is hand tight good enough??? I had to buy it just to get the filter that mazda put on there off. it seems to work great and only cost $5 at pepboys.

No... Only hand tighten your oil filter - never use a wrench. When the seal touches, hand tighten about a 3/4 turn. That's it.
