i see more and more " i killed my msp" threads
id say prob 15 or so totaled msps - prob another 20 or so that dont post

as far as i know there hasnt been any serius injuries?
i feel bad for all of you who lost there car
some one should make a sticky "MSP GRAVEYARD" with pics pro #s etc .

at this rate 10 years from now , they will be pretty rare

I think mazda has a reputation for safe vehicles. I've seen RX-8 fly through the air and land on their roofs and people walk away (not that they should). Mazda always had a grasp on the whole picture, not just style or performance.

Actually the rx-8 has impressive side impact despite the suicide style doors. I was reading about the safety aspect of it, pretty impressive.

You'd be suprised how news travels. The SRT forums have had members pass and they knew about it pretty quick. I remember several people on the old Impala boards dying.

My car involved another vehicle, i was hit by a full sized ford van. I don't know whats going on with my car, the est is only at $5950 but I found out they are for regular protege parts, not MSP parts. So I'm waiting to hear back from Mazdausa and the insurance people to see if I can get it totalled. It has been in 3 accidents in the past 2 months. 2 rear ends ,and 1 b4 I bought it

My damage was $5900 and the ladt smacked into me going about 35-40 mph when my car was only going about 5mph pulling out through the green. b**** ran the red AFTER the other light was already green for me. I felt like I got hit by a Mack truck and was a little sore for about a day or two only. But no bumps or bruises or anything. The cars are expensive to fix and everything is coming from factory. It's taken them about a month to fix it and I get to drive around in an SUV rental (woot woot). I'm also going to argue to get the 'decreased value' from their insurance company since it made so much damage and selling it like that will be in a disclosure statement. Hopefully I'll be coming away with at least $2k. This car will be with me for life. I'm hoping I'll be able to pass it down to my son one day. I was going to have my dads old 66 Alpha Romero, but it was damaged during Hurricane Andrew and couldnt be rebuilt.

i was fully stopped when i got hit ,i would say the guy was going around the same speed b.c he was trying to run a yellow light. it was a full sized ford van. i am not so lucky with injuries though. i am still hurting as much if not more then i was when it happened. the pain killers aren't doing anything and it sucks. my back ,neck, shoulder all still hurt and i have had a constant headache since it happened. he hit me hard enough for my seat to flybackwords and to push me out into the intersection. I don't want my car back, I would like another MSP but after 2 accidents in the past month plus finding out ot was damaged b4 i bought it ,i just don't want the one i have anymore.

Mine did, Mine did!!!!!!! Some jerkoff decided it would be smart to pass stopped vehicles on the shoulder. Guy in traffic yielded to me to turn left, and this dude smokes me doin' 50mph.
