Does anybody have a Map that I could get a start with?
Or maybe a list or manual that I can see what functions do what, etc.? I still can't get into the manuals that came on the disk, and I have a feeling thats where you learn it.

My email is utiboy2002@yahoo.com

Oh I do not have extra injectors.....I'm pretty much stock except exhaust.

Using some screen shots from other members I got an the idea of what the analog and ignition maps should be, so I made a map.

While driving and datalogging I was able to get fuel where needed and set the ignition back some where high load situations were occuring.
However I hate where the "turbo module" clicks in, when it does it dumps so much fuel the car under certain situations will bog down. I need to know if theres a way to either change when it clicks on, or change th degree on which it dumps fuel, or if those arn't possible a way to lean the entire map and just add fuel where needed.

Here's a word doc I typed up, I hope it helps. I did not go into full detail because it's not needed. This should help, if you want to know what the unit does in more detail, you need to look at the manual.

I will zip up the manual for you first thing in the morning. I guess I have to split it in to two parts. It's 4 meg.

You guys rock!!!!!!!

Now I know what does what, and now I know why had such a bog on light loads.....man....I wanna go driving again lol.

Know how you fell, been there, done it. I would make a little change and then go out on a 15 minute drive just to see what I did. Didn't matter if it was midnight...

Don't forget to let your factory ECU readjust to the changes, Could take a day or two..

dang man u didnt wate any time!!!! lol i got the stk map nick sent me at home if u want me to email it to u.

Last track day is friday. I'm bringing the Mazda and the scamp up.

If you want to give me the map, the more the merrier.

Okay I've been screwing around with the MPI for three days now. I absolutely love this thing.....it's sooo freakin addictive....

I just thought I'd throw out a couple things I've learned through trial and error that will save people new to this system alot of time.

MSP and P5 maps are totally different....

MSP's will have a much higher AMP switch point than a P5 because the MSP is expecting boost.....

Okay I now have a map that works really well and only shows slight bogging when doing a 4th or 5th. gear run from below 2k. (Which will never happen unless seeing if it will bog while tuning....)

I have it so it runs pretty rich (around 11.7-12.2 above 4k rpm...) and a total of -6 timing out above 4200rpm. At 8psi using the g-tech I was running 13.7's pretty consistantly. It definetly pulls pretty hard.

Now I'm starting on a higher psi map, probably around 13psi. I'm pretty sure the stock injectors will be at or past there limit but I won't know till I try. Mounting the extra injectors out of site is gonna be tough, but I think I can git er done.

Yeah, MSP's are pretty different because of their ECU. That damn thing is pretty different from the P5's and especially the MP3's.

You can mount the injectors right B4 the TB but underneath so you don't see them. I believe someone on here did that and it looked good.

OKay.... I hit fuel cut this morning @ 9psi. I have my analog at max. of 4.98? Whats going on?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!??

You have to check the voltage at which you hit fuel cut, then work from there.

You shouldn't be hitting fuel cut like that. Do you have a datalog of hit doing it? I'd like to see a map or log to help see what's going on.

I had to adjust the analog down to a 4.72 so that it wouldn't hit fuel cut? This doesn't make sense to me. I guess I'm gonna have to wait till the motor goes in to play with it somemore.

On the datalog it never shows it going above the set voltage however it will stay on the voltage when under heavy loads (beating the s*** out of it above 4800rpm.) Maybe I wired something wrong? Also I really need injectors....my exhaust valves are completely white....and spark plugs have no color.

Don't know why that worked. You should get some xtra injectors if you are seeing that color. What psi are you at? Acidbg is using stock injectors only at 10psi and he is not running out of fuel.

I'm now down to 4.62v to avoid fuel cut under normal situations, it still hits cut above 4800rpm.

I'm not liking this.

it's above 13:1 above 4800rpm. So I don't think its blowing it out.

Can you check the datalog and tell me what the Anolog in is at it's highest point. ( Max value ) ?
