It is easier to get in reverse now from last night for no reason. It is just a little harder to get out of reverse. Also backuplights are staying on all the time when I turn car on. Why is this?
When my tranny was initially put back together, my friends and I switched the back up sensor wires with the speedometer wires because the connectors were similar. It was a simple fix, but I was a little frustrated with it until I found the error.shoelessdavis said:It is easier to get in reverse now from last night for no reason. Make sure you have it all set up correctly, you can use pics that are on the How-To thread or get pics from someone on which wires are routed where, what they look like and where they connect.
When mine were switched the speedometer didn't work. But it could have been switched with something else. It's a good idea to label these things when you start disassembling even if it's just a connector that you think will easily reconnect. There usually seem to be similarities between certain connectors that can cause them to get confused.shoelessdavis said:My speedo is working fine though. I unpluged the wire and conector for the backup lights and now I just do not have any back up lights until I can figure it out. If I had them switched would that mean my speedo would not be working properly?
