MSP Help! Rough idle and loss of power

100k now on miles and i just changed the plugs 25 miles ago. Could it be the wastegate? what type of gas does everyone else use? my car runs lean also i think sprays black suet on the back bumper?
 
it is not your wga , i have this same prob and i have a fresh rebuild , my car has 97000 miles on it and I've changed coils, plugs (gapped properly) , and i recently changed my wga to an oem one and changed my EM and turbo gasket. This problem never occurred until I installed a eBay turbo manifold after rebuilding my engine. it make me wonder , what kind of exhaust manifold do you have? And isn't it weird that we have close to the same miles and the same problem too?
 
I have the stock one. It has a crack but it never did this before. But yeah its like this cars crashes afterr 100k miles. I'm waiting for a guy to call me to go over and hook my car up and see if we can figure it out but that wont be untill next weekend.
 
I got the same issues. When it was cold still i had good clean power in the mornings until it warmed up it would just lose power and still boosted just fine. Problem occurred after I blew a turbo my car sat for 3 months until i got another ebay turbo. I ran an LX ecu with mpi tuner/extra injectors then. Since new turbo it has never ran right, had to replace o2 sensors at first....wouldnt even idle right and would run lean in boost cuz the o2 covered in oil. I now run MSP Ecu with same problem even with SSafc added. Anyway now my car gets horrible gas mileage and problem seems to be getting worse. There are times recently I first start my car it stumbles and dies and I cant even rev it up and my wideband is running like 16-17 lean. Its acting like the Maf bad, Ive always been figuring it has been timing issues. I want to pick up some junkyard sensors see if anything helps.
 
I can't find any junk yards around hre that have msp in it. So I have som good news I found a big leak coming off the plasic tube off the throttle body to the int at leas I hope it fixes it. Not sure if i should go find another plasic one or a hard pipe but not sre if that pipe will still work for the corksport fmic. Which would explqin my idling but not sure if the same fr power loss?
 
Would that explain the loss of power and my exhaust sounding like crap instead of an eveb flow? I mean hopefully fiximg that will fix the idle and power loss? I just noticed it today when it was hissing at me under the hood then when I pushed the throttle down.it was huge
 
[yes that could cause a bad idle , and if that was the only thing wrupng with it maybe your lucky and that's the only thing wrong
 
I had similar issues and it turned out to be a bad primary O2 sensor. Are you running a bov with the maf still on the intake?
 
try to relocated your maf, did itt o mine, holy s*** did it make a difference. idle is amazing, wont stall out, boost perfectly. Also check your wga, cant harm you in tryin. I even ent to the junk yard, found a maf off a stock protege and bolted it up to my airbox to hide the relocated one.
 
I swear I looked 20 times at tjose hoses and when I go to look not trying to find a leak I find it. And yes the stock one the car comes with and the maf is on the intake
 
Well the car dosent have a bov in stock form, it has a bpv. It should points towards the intake however, its used to release the pressure from the hot pipe back into the intake.
