tekkie said:That sucks, were you the guy that had all the problems? I know that there was another guy in Toronto that had it and it worked great for him. However as you know he had them install it for him, I also noticed that they no longer list it on their site.
lol, I dunno the guy so I cant comment on him505zoom said:.... The tool you speak of is xsivspd, and yes it is no longer on their site because others had problems with it too.

tekkie said:...I guess you had no luck getting them to return your money? not sure what you can do to sue them from the US but I am sure that you already thought about all of that.
I didnt mean to confuse you here.. my fault.505zoom said:What exactly do you mean when you say that the maps will be off when changing boost? I was planning on having one controller set at 10, with map A on the tuner tuned for 10... then I will have the other controller set at 16 with map B on the tuner tuned for 16. I thought that I had it all figured out, but now you got me second guessing myself. (uhm)
paulmp3 said:...that will work fine if you have a laptop to switch between maps...
mx3ownzj00 said:you will be fine running the T25R @ 16psi. you're right; at 18psi the efficiecy begins to drop off. it will produce upwards of 25psi though.
Bigg Tim said:You should be able to hook a switch up to one of the wires to the MPI so you can switch from map A or B. As long as you have both maps setup to give the right amount of fuel and timing for whatever PSI you will be running it should work. Like if you had map A setup for 10PSI and the car ran great with the right A/F ratio's, then map B setup for 15PSI and all was correct for that map, then the switch thing would work. There just won't be any in between, you have to go with the 2 maps. Now the way Paulmp3 does his is a great idea also, it gives you a broader range of maps, but no switch.
Bigg Tim said:Nick put one of his units on a MSP in N.J. with a bad intercooler and it ran a 13.7 in the 1/4 mile. Not positive what the boost was, but I think it was 15PSI. He said that if there was a better intercooler on there, it could of went faster.
Bigg Tim said:So I'd like to see what your beast would do with the setup you have.
Joe took his up to 21PSI on the dyno long, long agoStriker187 said:the block should be fine seeing as it's iron. i heard somewhere that someone tested the block to 20 psi. as for the fuel pump, walbro is basically the best. might as well stick with them.
