why's the mp3 ecu worth so much? other than the fact that they're rare

Better tune for more HP as opposed to pro5 ecu's.

And, only good on 5speeds. Not auto's

better MPG? well I guess ours is a little harder on gas then the reg protege, but I still got 700 km on 50 L of gas.. that's what.. 435 miles on 13.2 gals for 33 mpg.. not to shabby if you ask me.

thats not too bad at all. i guess my driving routes and habits are what keeps clockin me in @ a constant 26mpg. i drive relatively slow. been driving even slower on this tank to see if i can make some improvements. so far ive been getting a lot of tail gaters and people passing me before i get up to the speedlimit lol

hahaha well I've been able to do a week on 5 bucks of gas lol the trick is not to rev at all.. every shift i made was at like 2000 to 2500 rpm. 40 km on 5 bucks is also not bad.. if i dont try, or drive like my usual self 5 bucks will get me 10 km.
