MSP Dyno - Stock PSI

Yours shows how much the stock catback section sucks. I would have expected more from the SMIC and pipes since everyone has been raving about them so much.

My only mods at the time were the CS exhaust with Vibrant cat and K&N panel filter.

My boost gauge read between 7.5 and 8 the whole time in fourth gear

I think your gauge might be off. You'd think that your a/f ratio would be better than that with more boost.

I'll have the vibrant full exhaust on by Tuesday. I'll redyno and see how much that helps.

What is the best vacuum hose to "T" into? I hooked it up into one running right off my intake manifold just like I read about doing. When I rip in second gear the gauge reads no more than 7. Are these cars supposed to have more boost in higher gears? Plus I probably would have seen between 175 and 180 HP with almost 8 psi. Your dyno further proves that msp's lay down consistent numbers with similar mods. If you would have had a sri and hardpipes at the time you probably would have laid down around 166 HP in my opinion.

I'll have to look at mine. I had Elite do it right when I got the car, so I am not sure where they T'd off of.

Exactly what I was thinking.

This means we gained 20WHP with only bolt ons.
im not hating, im just saying thats weak for the mods, and if you gained 20whp from the bolt on's that means a stock msp only dynos at 140ish whp, and thats super weak...

Yeah that is superweak for a 2.0 Liter turbo. The stock MSP that dynoed after me put down 146 HP. So I gained 20 over stock. To me that isn't bad. Plus I didn't spend much on my mods. I just wish the MSP came from the factory with at least 200 crank hp's. At least it handles great.

Still sound like hating to me.

BTW - you car is ugly.

Now that I have the full Vibrant exhaust I should put up better numbers. I want to do a pull at 8 or 9 psi too.

lol i decided to lay off them, i didnt want to hurt their little high and mighty msp feelings.

haha....hurt our feelings, good luck.

Every time I look at my car, I instantly get happy.

well im happy for you, but just make sure everytime you look at your car you remember that a civic si will ass **** you in a race. have a good day.

Man I don't know what msp's you've been messin with but they aren't all slow. I hardly ever talk junk on here, but i'd love to see a civic si ass **** me in a race.

I have raced to civic si's 02 model and 03 and I beat both of them from a dig and these si's were modded pretty well. By the way why are jacking this guys thread he is just posting numbers from a dyno he wasn't asked to get bashed about it.

wheres the vibrant exhaust available from, pics?

also, considering the fs makes about 100whp without the turbo, 166whp isnt bad.
