MSP DP with CAT Assy. Pic.

That looks hot, I actually like muff 1 better though. When is the downpipe with cat going to be ready for sale, that looks sweet. What kind of cat is it? I love the angled exhaust look, I caqn't wait.

i think this one was covered b4, but i think the reason why is b/c there isn't a real reason to have a 3" unless your car is pushing 400whp.

yes, i know it was discussed b4 and people said there is no use to it. but that doesn't mean there isn't a market for it. thats all i'm sayin. i know it's overkill, but... I AM A MORBID FAN OF OVERKILL!!! i also want negative backpressure...

How much for the down pipe without the muffler?

Where you purchase ?

Gooooooooooooood very nice

If you want negative backpressure that means you want negative boost. Not good.

Apex,

I dont know if you know this, but the cut out in the bumper for the muffler on the '03 is bigger than the cut out on the '03.5. So please keep that in mind when you do the cat back.

P.S. Muffler 2, looks best to me.

Will you guy be welding on hangers or using the clamp style hangers that they use on the hks titanium?

How loud is it without the silencer and with your downpipe?

Will you be offering a catback with a resonator ( PLEASE :D ) ?

Lastly, is your D/P and the upcoming S pipe replacement ceramic coated?

Definately 2!

That's a great alternative for MSP owners who don't live in FL. :p

The cops in Miami are starting to look under the car with a mirror when they pull you over. You can be fined up to $10K for messing with the emission system.

A friend of mine has first hand experience of this.

Holy S$%t!!!

$10,000

Since there's a cat, couldn't you just pick a custom tip and run a straight pipe?

I've done that on my 91 MR2 Turbo and I've tried a 2.5" straight pipe with the stock setup on the MSP and neither are very loud. (Of course I took it right off protege when I proved that there is no benefit to it without other mods...but the point is it's not that loud.)

Yeah, Plan B was to have a custom cat back done. Its just that I wanted to buy a tuned system for this car, all my other cars have been custom.

thanks

def #2! :)

its funny that CARB and local governments are so anal about emissions... the EPA has suggested to the FEDERAL government that catalytic converters be phased out of automobiles because old cats end up and cause more damage than they prevent when used on a car.
apparently someone missed that memo about rotting catalytic converters...

i'm a very "green" person myself, but i believe the EPA has made a good reccomendation.
