Recently took a road trip to Colorado from Texas and snapped a few pics along the way. Unfortunately, my camera drains batteries like nothing else even with the LCD off, so I didn't get to take many pics. The area was beaufiul though in comparison to what you see in Texas.

I saw a picture on here that someone took with a camera out the window while the car was moving, so here are my attempts.. Turned out pretty nice except for the dirt over the wheel well on the fender.

A shot of a flower at a rest stop. Turned out pretty nice, especially in it's larger format.

Another landscape shot. This is one of the many crop fields I passed and thought it was pretty cool how they looked as I was driving by them.

Took this pic as the mountains first started appearing.

Pretty nice shot of the landscape as seen in my rear view. The land closer to Colorado is absolutely amazing as it engulfs you all around. Very nice.

Beautiful mountain ranges. This was pretty much the view from Tara's dorm, but a lot closer. Simply amazing.

More mountains.

The sky in this pic just turned out this way for some reason. I'm not sure why it had the color fade, as it certainly was not red or green, but it turned out pretty interesting.

MSP parked on dirt road somewhere..

Dirt road shot again but at a different angle.. Gotta love Spicy Orange... :D

Orange truck that honked as I passed him. We later somehow met up at a gas station and he said he loved the color of the car and we talked awhile about my car. Got that "giddy" feeling and goofy grin on my face all over again. His comment made the long ass trip worth it.

Shot of boost gauge.. Hittin' between 0.8 & 0.9 bar. :D
gauge-almost-one-bar.jpg

Shot of the gauge and the clear open roads I were on most of the trip. This car handles BEAUTIFULLY at high speeds...

Had to adjust the contrast on this pic to show the halos, but you can see the white rings around the needles. This is acheived by removing all of the lights on the back of the gauges and replacing them without any orange "condoms". At night, the lights have a "halo" around the center of the needles and the gauges are overall brighter. Very nice effect.

Shot of the odometer as I hit 17k miles. *sigh* I can remember the smile on my face as I was driving it off the lot with only 12 miles in April.

Random honda with big ass wing, annoying exhaust and ghetto driver.

Went from Austin, TX to Raton, NM then up through Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Trinidad, Denver and finally Boulder. Gorgeous drive; even though it was 13+ hours to straight and long roads..

Cool deal...Wish I had known, I could have shown you some fun roads.

Boulder does have some awsome roads. Did you get any mountain driving in? That is definately the best and funnest!! Went from Denver to Steamboat springs last weekend. That was the greatest drive ever! There is nothing like taking hairpins at 50+.

John Denver is to busy running from the cops for un-paid parking tickets to take any notice of the "real" mountains...
