Hey MSP pro you might be onto something but i'm not sure?Everyone try this to see what i mean about the clutch disengagement:
1.Put car in neutral(no need for starting the car)
2.Depress clutch pedal fully
3.Dump the clutch(release the clutch as fast as you can ,just pull your foot up and off as fast as you can)
4.Watch the reaction of the pedal!
You should also be able to feel your foot leave the pedal behind!
This is the FIRST car i've ever driven that had the clutch react like this!It releases slow which will do a couple of things if you drive your car hard(OR AT THE TRACK):
1.This slow reaction will produce excessive wear on the clutch if you try to "LAUNCH" the car and when you shift very fast!
2.Will create the possibility of missed FAST 1-2 and 2-3 shifts!
TRYING THIS WILL NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR!
So to all MSP owners ,go try this and let us know what you are feeling!Input will be key!I know that all the MSP's have got to have this prob. So post up what you find after your test.
ONCE AGAIN, the car does not need to be running to do this!
(Don't want anyone popping the clutch while in their garage w/it accidentally in gear and making a new doorway!)
Thanx,Matt
