Yesterday, while I was driving, the deck blaked out while I was shuffling thru the system Q settings. The radio didn't flip out but it just shut off. I turned off my car but nothing. I was on my way to work so I didn't have tool to disconnect my battery. But I don't think that would have worked. The reset button didn't work either
I noticed when I pressed the source, Q, or eject button and held it down, the radio would turn on and/or try to flip out. As soon as I let go, then the radio would simply turn off and the face would move back into position
The fix...kinda tricky
I pressed of the buttons, but kept enough pressure to keep the radio on while the face flipped out. When the face was far out enough I quicly pulled it out and I let the radio sit of a couple seconds and now my stereo is ok. Took a couple times but it saved me a trip to the dealer. Everything was reset but at least I got a stereo again.
